This privacy policy explains how Magnificent Machine Studios (a trade name of One Magnificent Company Inc., a New York corporation) handles information in connection with our products, including TapMinder. We have written this policy in plain language to make it easy to understand exactly what we do and do not do with your data.

The short version

Our apps run entirely on your device. We do not collect, transmit, store, or sell any personal information. We do not include analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking. We have no servers that hold your data because there are no servers involved at all.

What information our apps access

To provide their core features, our apps may access information stored on your device, including:

• Notes, reminders, alarms, timers, and other content you create within the app
• Settings and preferences you configure (such as widget colors, sounds, and durations)
• System information needed for the app to function (such as the current time, audio mode, or do-not-disturb state)

This information stays on your device. It is stored locally in the app's private storage and is not transmitted to us or to any third party.

What information we do not collect

We do not collect, receive, or have access to:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or contact information
• Your location
• The contents of your notes, alarms, timers, or any other in-app data
• Crash reports, error logs, or telemetry from your device
• Usage analytics or behavioral data of any kind
• Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or any unique tracking information

Permissions our apps may request

Our apps request only the permissions required to provide their advertised features. The exact permissions vary by app and feature, but typically include some combination of:

• Schedule exact alarms (so alarms fire at the time you set them)
• Post notifications (so reminders and alarm-firing screens can appear)
• Modify do-not-disturb settings (so silence-mode features work)
• Vibrate (for haptic feedback)
• Display over other apps (so alarms can be dismissed from the lock screen)
• Read and write to app-specific external storage (only when you import or export your own data)

Our apps do not request internet access. They cannot send or receive data over a network because they do not have permission to do so.

Data exports and imports

Our apps allow you to export your own data (such as notes) to files that you control. You may choose to share these files with other apps or services. Once you do so, the receiving app or service may apply its own privacy practices to your data. We are not responsible for how third-party apps or services handle data that you choose to share with them.

Children's privacy

Our apps are general-audience utility tools and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, because we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Distribution platforms

When you install our apps from a distribution platform such as the Google Play Store, that platform may collect its own information about your installation, device, or use of the app, in accordance with its own privacy policy. We do not receive personal information from these platforms; we only receive aggregated, non-identifying information such as install counts and crash counts. Please review the privacy policy of the platform you use to install our apps for details about its own practices.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and post the revised policy on this page. We do not have any way to notify you directly because we do not collect contact information. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
